Aluminium Plant Upgrades Protection with Intelligent Fire & Safety Systems from Advanced

Advanced Electronics has supplied a range of intelligent solutions for an upgrade to the fire and safety systems at Rio Tinto Alcan’s Lochaber aluminium smelting plant in Fort William, Scotland. Irish IKEA Stores Invest in Advanced Fire Protection

Advanced Electronics intelligent control panels are behind the fire detection system at IKEA’s new flagship stores in Belfast and Dublin. The recently opened stores for Europe’s best known home furnishing brand are huge. The buildings are each over 30,000 square feet in size, stocking 9,500 different products, and include 500+ seat restaurants and an underground car park in the Dublin store.

Staybridge HotelIntegrated Fire Detection System Keeps Guests Safe in New Concept Hotel

The L1 system was designed and installed by Durham based CDS Security & Fire and consists of a single Mx-4802, 8 loop fire alarm control panel that monitors over 300 fire sensors and devices from Apollo Fire Detectors’ Discovery range. DDA-compliant systems were also installed in six dedicated suites to provide fire alarm warning for the hearing impaired, using a strobe and under pillow vibration pad. Click here to read more.

‘Nationaal Muziekkwartier’ Theatre New Theatre Complex Benefits from Advanced Fire Protection

Our Intelligent Fire Alarm Control Panels are at the heart of an innovative fire protection solution at the new £65m ‘Nationaal Muziekkwartier’ Theatre Complex in the Dutch city of Enschede. Our intelligent control panels have been installed in a new film studio complex in Belgrade as part of their fire protection system. The newly constructed studio, owned by Pink Films International (PFI), covers 42 acres on the outskirts of Belgrade and consists of 360,000 square feet of multi-story buildings, which are home to 9 sound stages. National Indorr ArenaAdvanced Protection for Worlds Largest Blood Processing Centre

Intelligent fire alarm control panels from Advanced Electronics are at the heart of a new fire detection system for the world’s largest blood processing centre. The new purpose built £60m facility for the National Blood Service, located at Filton, Bristol was opened in July 2008 and will process 600,000 units of blood per year. National Indorr ArenaNational Indoor Arena Invests in Advanced Fire Technology

Advanced Electronics intelligent control panels are behind a large fire detection system upgrade at the National Indoor Arena (NIA) in Birmingham. The NIA is one of the busiest large- scale indoor sporting and entertainment venues in Europe, with over 4 million visitors having passed through its doors since opening in 1991. The arena can seat up to 14,500 people, but flexible seating allows the layout to be adapted. Four car parks are also located within the NIA. Click here to read more

New Flagship School Benefits from Advanced Fire Protection

Intelligent Fire Panels from Advanced Electronics are at the heart of a new fire detection system at Bristol’s newest flagship school. The £33 million Redland Green School opened its doors in September 2007 and when full will be home to nearly 1400 students. Advanced Electronics Limited has supplied intelligent control panels for fire detection and smoke damper control as part of the first phase of the King’s Cross St. Pancras Underground Station redevelopment.
