Advanced Electronics Appoints Head of UK Sales

UK Sales Manager: John Newton

Advanced Electronics Limited, one of Europe’s largest independent manufacturers of intelligent control equipment for life safety, has appointed John Newton to the new role of UK Sales Manager.

John has over 20 years experience within the fire and security industry, seven of which have been with Advanced Electronics. During his time at Advanced John has undertaken a wide range of roles, including product management, training and latterly as Sales Manager for the Northern Region of the UK. The key objectives for John’s new role will be to develop and manage the existing distribution network and to increase the service and support provided by the internal and external sales teams.
“ With extensive industry knowledge and an in-depth understanding of fire products John is the ideal candidate for this new position”, Ian Thompson, Advanced’s Sales Director said. “I know he will fit into this role well and we wish him all the success for the future.”
